Why have a network of pet sitters?
The mission of the Rockford Area P.A.W.S. Network is to provide business related support and information to its members, to offer a support system of friends and peers and to build an awareness of pet sitting in our community, along with an awareness of pet education and pet sitter education.
What are the benefits of becoming a member?
With over 85,000 homes in the Rockford area, pet sitting is an expanding, dynamic industry with potential for growth. The Rockford Area P.A.W.S. Network is a source of information for new clients, while providing individual company owners benefits such as:
Referrals via the website and other network members.
Roundtable member discussions of business related topics.
Speakers and presentations from qualified professionals.
Participation in community events without the individual expense.
Mentoring - new members can get valuable information from more experienced members.
Group support - our network has members throughout the Rockford area, so there are many sources to contact with questions.
Requirements:
1. Members must be able to provide proof of insurance upon joining the network.
2. Members must attend 4 out of the 6 bimonthly meetings each year.
3. Membership dues must be current.
(Annual dues of $45/year to be paid upon joining)
